Kitchen trends experienced live with GRASS in eastern Westphalia

At this year's Guided Press Tour of the A30 Kitchen Mile, GRASS accompanied trade journalists on visits to eight kitchen manufacturers.

 

As it does every year, GRASS invited its guests to join the Guided Press Tour of the A30 Kitchen Mile. 13 journalists accompanied the manufacturer of movement systems to Rotpunkt Küchen, Ballerina Küchen, allmilmö, Häcker Küchen, zeyko, LEICHT, Sachsen Küchen and eggersmann. The participants were able to gain a wealth of impressions of the latest innovations in the kitchen industry in just one day.

 

The trends of tomorrow include the fully equipped utility room, variable storage space options with comfortable drawer systems as well as high-quality surfaces made from natural materials. Each of the eight manufacturers was marked out by different highlights.

 

LEICHT, for example, presented a dark no-fingerprint surface, while Ballerina Küchen surprised visitors with a Y-shaped kitchen. Thanks to the Y shape, several people can easily work together in the kitchen without getting in one another's way.

 

Häcker Küchen showed its international dimension and this year presented various country booths focusing on the particular features of French, Swiss and Swedish kitchens and others under the theme of "Living Spaces".

 

The general trend towards luxury kitchens was evident throughout the tenth GRASS Guided Press Tour. In addition to the conscious use of marble, concrete and wood, streamlined design and the occasional use of mirror elements made the kitchens seem even bigger. As well as visiting the manufacturers, the tour included three presentations exploring the future of the kitchen.
